Located in the World Trade Center, Colombo, this shipping company office was designed to reflect the dynamic energy of a harbor. The concept brings an immersive experience, with the reception desk sculpted in the shape of a ship, making an instant statement as visitors arrive.
The office space is inspired by a container yard, featuring industrial elements that evoke the essence of maritime logistics. The blend of functional design and thematic aesthetics creates a workspace that is both engaging and efficient, reinforcing the company’s identity within the global shipping industry.

Project Bold and Masculine Brand Identity at Fashion Bug, Colombo
At Fashion Bug in Colombo, our goal was to design a distinctive brand identity and create a unique shop within a shop for the men's section. To emphasize a masculine aesthetic, we used dark colors and industrial materials. The design features unfinished wood panels, an open black ceiling with exposed ducts, pipes, and visible wiring layouts, all contributing to the bold, urban atmosphere. Mood lighting and custom-designed racks enhance the space, creating the perfect ambiance for a modern, stylish shopping experience.

Project The Chocolate Room – A Cozy, Decadent Design by TOOB Design
The interior of The Chocolate Room is designed with rich, dark earthy tones that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Wooden chairs add a touch of warmth, fostering a cozy, relaxed environment, while the glossy upholstery of the seats introduces an informal vibe, contrasting with the sophistication of matte finishes. These comfortable yet stylish chairs encourage visitors to stay, unwind, and indulge.
A striking design element is the 3D chocolate wall, which creates an interesting textural effect. Outside the showroom, one wall is molded to resemble hard chocolate, but as you enter, the wall transforms into a ripple effect, mimicking melted chocolate. This subtle design change evokes the feeling of decadent indulgence, perfectly reflecting the theme of the space.

Project Budget-Friendly Hotel Transformation with Smart Design
The primary goal of this project was to deliver a cost-effective refurbishment while maintaining the hotel’s strong reputation on TripAdvisor. Listed among affordable stays, the owner wanted to enhance the guest experience without exceeding the budget.
To achieve this, we incorporated wood-look finishes using veneers for larger panels, achieving a high-end aesthetic at a fraction of the cost. Additionally, a peaceful outdoor setting was designed for each room, creating a relaxing ambiance that elevates the guest experience while keeping expenses minimal.
